Your footage stays in your browser

Clipdify is a browser-first editor. Video clips you import remain in your browser unless you explicitly choose to use cloud storage or export through our servers.

When you enable cloud storage for a project, your media is stored on isolated infrastructure tied to your account. We do not share or sell this content.

Account information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email and (optionally) a name. We use this only to authenticate you and to send essential service emails — billing receipts, password resets, and security notices.

We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.

Transcription and processing

When you transcribe a clip, the audio is processed by our captioning pipeline. Audio is transmitted over TLS, processed, and discarded after the transcription is returned. We do not retain raw audio for model training.

Generated captions are stored as part of your project so you can re-edit them.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small set of strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session state. Analytics are aggregated and anonymized — we do not track you across other sites.

Your rights

You can export, edit, or permanently delete any project at any time. Contact support@clipdify.com to request a full export of your account data or a deletion of your account.
