Privacy Policy

Effective July 13, 2026Last updated July 13, 2026

Section 01

Your footage stays in your browser

Clipdify is a browser-first editor. Video clips you import remain in your browser unless you explicitly choose to use cloud storage or export through our servers.

When you enable cloud storage for a project, your media is stored on isolated infrastructure tied to your account. We do not share or sell this content.

Section 02

Account information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email and (optionally) a name. We use this only to authenticate you and to send essential service emails — billing receipts, password resets, and security notices.

We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.

Section 03

Transcription & processing

When you transcribe or enhance a clip, the audio is processed by our pipeline over TLS, then discarded after the result is returned. We do not retain raw audio for model training.

Generated captions are stored as part of your project so you can re-edit them.

Section 04

Connected social accounts

If you connect a social platform to publish content, we store the access tokens needed to post on your behalf and basic profile info (handle, avatar) to show you which account is connected.

You can disconnect any account at any time, which revokes our access. We only use these tokens for actions you explicitly trigger.

Section 05

Google & YouTube API services

When you connect a Google or YouTube account, Clipdify uses YouTube API Services. By using this feature you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and your data is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

Clipdify's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we access

With your authorization, we access your YouTube channel name and ID (to show which account is connected) and the ability to upload videos to your channel — only when you explicitly choose to publish. We do not read, collect, or store your existing videos, analytics, comments, or subscriber data beyond what is needed to display the connected account.

How we use and store it

Access and refresh tokens are stored solely to publish the content you select. We never use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties. We do not use Google user data to train AI or machine-learning models.

Revoking access

You can disconnect your Google/YouTube account in Clipdify at any time, or revoke Clipdify's access directly at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately stops all further API use, and we delete the stored tokens.

Section 06

Cookies & analytics

We use a small set of strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session state. Analytics are aggregated and anonymized — we do not track you across other sites.

Section 07

Your rights

You can export, edit, or permanently delete any project at any time. Contact support@clipdify.com to request a full export of your account data or deletion of your account.
